About me
Mark Billings is a retired Naval Officer who has served as the Executive Director for the Southeast Volusia affiliate for approaching three years. He is a graduate of Rockledge High School in Brevard County, Florida. He holds an undergraduate degree from New Hampshire College, a graduate degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and a post graduate certificate in organizational leadership from the Harvard Business School.
He is a member of the Volusia County Affordable Housing Advisory Council for the County Commission. Other boards he serves as a member include the Guardian Angel Research Network and the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce.
Mark lives in New Smyrna Beach where in his spare time he enjoys spending time at the beach and outdoor activities with his youngest son who is now a freshman in college who plays on the Lenior Rhyne football team. He has three adult sons. One lives in New York City and the other two in Los Angeles. Mark enjoys visiting both areas but is quick to point out that nothing is better than living on the coast of Central Florida!
