About me
My experience with Habitat for Humanity began almost 9 years ago as a Donation Ambassador (Driver) for the Springfield, MO ReStore. After completing a degree in Environmental Science, I eventually moved to the position of ReStore Manager; and ultimately, ReStore Director. I was blessed to have an amazing community to work with and, with the help of outstanding staff and volunteers, in just a few short years the Springfield ReStore grew to be one of the most profitable operations in the nation. Since joining the ReStore Support Group in February 2013, I have participated in dozens of consulting engagements and have visited over 100 ReStores in two countries. In addition to consulting duties, I have participated in curriculum development and implementation; including ReStore University and the National ReStore Safety Initiative. When the opportunity to work with the ReStore Support Group presented itself, I was very excited to join the team and continue my work with Habitat for Humanity. The mission of Habitat is an essential and worthy effort and I feel fortunate every day to be a part of such a great organization.
